Oral glucose tolerant test is called OGTT test, most common test to detect diabetes mellitus. Test is done by collecting blood in fasting stage then patient is given 75 mg glucose with water. Blood sample is collected after 2 hours.
While Fasting. Blood glucose level below 6.1 mmol/L (110 mg/dL) is normal.
2 hour After Glucose intake, Blood glucose level below 7.8 mmol/L (140 mg/dL) is normal
While Fasting. Blood glucose level below 6.1 mmol/L (110 mg/dL) is normal.
2 hour After Glucose intake, Blood glucose level below 7.8 mmol/L (140 mg/dL) is normal
